What is Trinka?

Trinka is the academic grammar tool built specifically for technical writing — it understands the conventions of scientific, medical, and engineering writing in ways that general tools do not. The AI is trained on academic and scientific text and makes corrections that respect technical terminology, passive voice conventions (common in academic writing), and domain-specific expression patterns.

Unlike Grammarly, which often flags passive voice as an error even when it is standard academic convention, Trinka knows that 'The samples were analyzed at 37°C' is correct scientific writing, not a grammatical error. This context-awareness makes it dramatically more accurate for researchers whose writing is continuously flagged incorrectly by general tools.

The free plan offers 5,000 words per month — enough for regular use. The Personal Dictionary feature allows adding domain-specific terminology, product names, and acronyms that should not be flagged. Trinka integrates with Microsoft Word, LaTeX (Overleaf), and browser-based editors. The publication readiness check evaluates manuscripts against journal submission requirements.
